Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Wednesday Morning Update:
Just updated the Wind & Waves forecast for tomorrow and it looks to still be good! Steady East winds around 9 kph, high of 18C and sunny! The Weather Network's forecast is not so rosy unfortunately! They are predicting North East winds from 14-21 kph! : ( This has pretty well been the trend this month, lots of wind! Oh well, it will be a day where you fly something that you have confidence it can handle the strong winds, probably won't be ideal for a first time toss of your latest build.

I will be there around 10:15 am...ish.

Cheers!

Lyle

Monday Evening Update:
Yeah...Wednesday looks to be a blow out! Thursday is indeed the better day. I plan on arriving at the field Thursday morning around 10:15 am. Hopefully the forecast holds....

Best,

Lyle

Morning!
Looking ahead to the weather forecasts for the upcoming week, Wednesday and Thursday both look promising, but once again the winds coming from the East, look to be a wee bit on the high side. At this point, I'm planning on heading to the field on Wednesday morning, however, if that doesn't work out, Thursday will be my back up day.

I will update this post on Tuesday evening.

Best,

Lyle

I can't make Weds but will on Thurs if the weather cooperates. Presently Thurs looks better than Weds.

HI Guys,

I'm seeing much better conditions Thursday.

less chance of rain.
less wind, 4 kts at 11:00 am,
Better Vis, 10 + N miles.
higher cloud base, None.

Hope to see you then, If I can avoid Med Appointments.

Hey,
I hope to make it on Thursday if the weather cooperates. I’m anxious to fly my new Prime RES III.

Looks like it may be quite windy after mid-morning so I''ll try and get there 9 to 9:30. I'm going to at least test glide the LS6 and it is heavy so some wind may be helpful. A true maiden will depend on survivability of the test glide.
