Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Unfortunately something has cropped up and I won't be able to make it tomorrow.

Ryan texted me to report he is spraying the east half of our field but that we are good to fly the west half (where we usually fly).

I should be there by 10:00

GH is going to be harvesting the sod from our portion of their fields, beginning on or around Mon.June 3. We will likely be moving to the northeastern field the following weekend.

Details and directions to the new area will be provided as soon as it has been confirmed.

In the meantime, if there is harvesting activity, please do not park where you will block trucks & equipment. Fly only if it's safe (for you and GH employees) to do so.

Edit:
Forecast looks good for Monday and slightly better Tuesday
At the moment I am undecided which day I will fly, if there are others posting that they will fly Monday, I will join, otherwise I will be flying Tuesday

Update
The forecast looks much better for Tuesday so I will be flying on Tuesday.

I plan to be at the field around 10 or so.
Will be flying F5J and DLG
Hope to see you there.

Tim

Hey,
I’ll come out tomorrow as well.
Probably around 10 or so.
See you then.

GH have started harvesting the sod from the area where we fly. We will be moving elsewhere on the field sometime next week.

Details and directions to the new area will be provided as soon as it has been confirmed.

In the meantime, if there is harvesting activity, please do not park where you will block trucks & equipment. FLY ONLY IF IT'S SAFE (for both you and GH employees) TO DO SO.
