Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Afternoon:
Paul Riedlinger asked me to post for him on our Bulletin Board to see if anyone else is planning on a flying session at our Burford Field tomorrow? It's a bit of a hike for him to drive from Mid town Toronto to our field, so he would prefer to fly with members if possible. If you are planning on going, can you please post a response so he can decide whether to make the trip or not.

Best,

Lyle

Btw....primo conditions at the field this morning with almost no wind (a rarity!) until noon. Only three members present?

Edit 10:40 Tuesday
As the wind forecast looks better around 1:00 pm, I will be arriving around then instead of 12:00

If the forecast holds, I also plan to fly at the slope Tuesday
I will aim to be there around noon or shortly afterwards.

Evening!
My wife and I are planning on taking the back roads to Campbellville in the morning to admire all the Fall colours. We will likely have lunch there before heading back home. I am planning to stop off at Westover on the way home. Hopefully, some of you will still be on the hill. If I don't see any cars in the church yard, I will know you have left. Otherwise, I will make the trek to the top to watch all the action.

Best,

Lyle

Myself, Tim, Mike K, Mike S and Lyle observing had a good day today. It was gusty and the lift wasn't always continuous, but we had some good flights. Nice and warm for late Oct and the Fall colours made it a worthwhile day. Thanks guys for coming out.

Morning!
Indications are that we will have a potential for decent flying conditions this coming Saturday. Sunny, low winds, but cool! Might be our last opportunity for outdoor flying this season! I'll be picking Terry D. up and heading to the Skyway Cafe before heading to the field. Most likely won't be arriving until 10:30 am.

Just a reminder, the porta potty is long gone for season....

Hope to see y'all there!

Lyle

I plan to be at the field around 10:30
Hope others will join
