Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

The field has recovered after the recent rain and is open again for flying.

Morning!
Both Friday and Saturday look pretty decent windwise but Saturday it's supposed to be coming in from the West which should be better for line launching!
So I will be there around 8 am on Saturday morning dragging a van full of various flying machines! Whose in???

Cheers!
Lyle

New to the group, hello. Would like to see the field, meet some people, have the procedures explained, etc. Can come out on Friday and or Saturday. Looking forward to it.

Good fun at the field today. 13 members flying all sorts from 70s classics to 21st century thermal seekers.

After a confusing start when the wind could not make up its mind which way to blow, there was some very good air for all. Bob K. kept aloft for ~85 mins after deciding on several occasions a landing could be averted after all. I measured one thermal at 320 ft/min before I had to chicken out due to visibility and avoid violating our 1200' NOTAM limit.

We are able to have some fun and conversation while keeping our social distancing. See you at the field again soon.
