Afternoon:
Just a quick heads up, after checking theweathernetwork.com, it would appear we may finally have some great flying opportunities for our Burford flying field. It's still a wee bit early and we have been fooled before, but I will keep an eye on the forecast, and update this post as we get closer in. The problem for me will in deciding which day is optimum. Might have to go to the field more than once to take advantage of the conditions!

Paul just informed me he has only Monday available, as he away the rest of the week. So it looks like I will probably join him then. I will hopefully get back to the field on Friday as well....

Just had an update from Paul....something's come up for Monday, so we have rescheduled for Tuesday morning! If he has to cancel, I will still be coming to the field...one way or another!

will be arriving at around 10 - 10:30

Yeah, I just checked and Monday's forecast looks to be better than Tuesday's which is predicting stronger winds with higher gusts. However, I have committed to flying on Tuesday. Paul, Randy, and Andy have indicated they will be there as well.

Morning!
Monday's forecast looks quite decent! But I can't make it out. Tuesday's is trending upward to higher wind speeds and gusts. Not feeling it, so I will not be coming out as planned. : ( At this point, I am planning on salvaging the week with a Friday flying session.

As of 5pm Monday Tuesday still looks OK. Wind forecast 15-23 kph and 25C by 1pm. So I will be there around 10-10:30. Winds will likely be higher than forecast as usual but not too drastic hopefully.

Afternoon!
Well, it would appear, I was really out of sync with this week's weather! Monday and today, Wednesday...perfect! Thursday and Friday's forecast look ominous for soaring! Very gusty winds predicted...again! Bah!
I've learned my lesson.... wait until the night of, before posting about a potential flying weather window! The weather has in my opinion, been very unstable.
