Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Morning!
I hear there was an excellent turnout on Sunday! Sorry I missed it! Flying conditions look good for tomorrow, so I am planning on picking up Terry Dawson and arriving some time around 10 am. Not sure what I will be bringing at this point, but there's lots to choose from that is for sure.

Best,

Lyle

We've been advised that Greenhorizons will be conducting helicopter flights at Burford on Wednesday.

The field is closed to SOGGI members for Wed. Sept.3

Afternoon:
I was debating whether to head out to Burford this coming Monday or Tuesday. The deciding factor, was Paul Riedlinger was unable to make a Tuesday session, so Monday it is! It's supposed to be sunny with low speed Westerly winds, but cool with a high of only 16C!! Time to bring out the long pants and sweaters I think!

Best,

Lyle

I'm going to be out as well. 10:30ish.

Also, Thursday is forecast to be nice. I'll be out same time.
Ditto Friday.
