Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Wednesday evening update!
The forecast is still looking good for Friday morning, but I am sad to report I cannot make it out! I'll be gone fishing with my grandson, down by the mouth of the Grand River, at Port Maitland. Not likely catch anything, but it will be fun to wash all the lures! Lol! Hopefully some of you can make it out to the field!

Best,

Lyle

Tuesday Morning Update!
Unfortunately, the forecast for tomorrow is not looking favourable! Gusty and possible rain! Bah! Friday's forecast looks promising, but I may have a prior commitment, won't know for sure until Thursday evening. So I will update my post once again at that time.

Best,

Lyle

Good Morning!
Looking a head into the week, originally, I was planning on heading to the field on Monday, but the forecasted winds are a little on the high side. Tuesday's forecast looks good, but I have commitments, which leaves me with Wednesday, which also looks good. We had a good turn out on Friday, with 8 members present, considering 3 of the regular flyers were MIA!

If the forecast changes for Wednesday, I'll update my post.

Best,
Lyle

Windfinder claims winds of 3 mph until around noon then increasing to 8-10 mph.
Heading to the field for 9:oo until wind picks up to unfavorable conditions,

It was a bust. Was sunny when I left my place but started to rain when I arrived in Burford.

Terry:
Sorry about your luck....now I am really glad I pulled the plug! I wouldn't have been in a good mood if I had just driven from the Hammer!

Best,

Lyle

Terry K & others - Ryan just texted me. They're spraying our field again .

Use the field on the other side of the road ( opposite our portapotty) or over by the greenhouse.
