Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

As of mid-day Sunday, the conditions for Monday look very promising.
I plan to be at the field around 10 am and will fly electric and DLG
If conditions deteriorate in the mean-time I will post an update by 07:30 Monday, otherwise I hope to see you at the field.

Tim

Update 06/02 @ 06:36 - conditions have deteriorated after prior forecast - I have decided not to fly today at Birford.
Conditions are looking good for Thursday - fingers crossed

I hope to join you, Tim. Conditions look good.

Edited 4:05pm: EC has just issued an air quality alert for the area. Reduced visibility & air quality are the concerns. I will check again in the morning and decide. :'(

It looks like similar weather for Saturday as we had today (Friday). I will try for 11:00 on Saturday.

Paul, As of now it looks too windy. But if the forecast changes to flyable and CMAS is on at Springvale I'm going there - as I guess other CMAS members will.
