Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Thursday looks like a great flying day so I plan to be at the field about 9:30-10:00 and staying until 2:00-ish.

I hope to fly my electric sailplane starting about 9:30AM. Expect a bit of wind, mild temperatures and mostly sunny with scattered clouds.

Yup, it was windy.
Does anyone know where the SOGGI-General-Purpose-Hammer disappeared to?

Update, I'm feeling rough with a bug and staying home.

Wednesday looks like a close to perfect day. I aim to be there 9 to 9:30 ish, flying off the histart and maybe some DLG.

I don't know where the hammer went. I'm pretty sure it was put in the clubhouse when I was the last to leave on Sunday Sept 23.

At the moment the forecast looks OK for a visit to the slope before Sunday's meeting. So if it stays OK plan to be there about noon for 45 mins or so.

Update, it is still looking OK but a bit cool and the grass will likely be quite wet, so plan to get there 10:30 ish. I'll bring the DLG as might need the exercise to keep warm!

It looks windy all week until Thurs/Fri. I can't make it Thurs so if mother nature co-operates I plan to be at the field on Friday (26th).

Starting 9 AM-ish, the plan is as follows:
A) Launch airplane, glide a lot, and then land somewhere nearby.
B) Repeat A) until fatigue sets in.
C) Go to Tim's to thaw out.

Also see Andy's note below, re flying tomorrow (Friday Oct 26).

I still intend to be at the field ~10:30, even though it does not look as good as it was. Andy
