Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Winds from due-North 15-20 km from 7 AM till 9 AM becoming north-easterly thereafter. I plan to give it a whirl. Hamilton Conservation Authority has been notified.

I hope to get to the field about 9:00 tomorrow. I'll be flying electric & testing my Altis settings. I plan on leaving around noon.

The forecast sez our ALES Contest is a GO for tomorrow (Saturday Sept 1), but I'll send out an e-mail to confirm this later today.
My Lanzo Bomber hasn't been out of the hangar yet this year. Time for a shake-down cruise to see if it still has any ALES left in it. Will be at Mines Road around 9 AM.

Plan to be at the field on Tuesday Sept 4 about 8am to do some rubber powered free flight. Hopefully the current (9pm, Sat Sept 1) weather probs hold up: Warren.

If the forecast holds, I plan to be at the field Thurs ~8:30-9:00 until ~1:00 pm, flying line launch.

Evening!
The Wind & Waves forecast is looking pretty good for Wednesday, so I'm taking my beat up old Radian Pro out to the field to see if I can inflict some more battle wounds! : ) Maybe you want to come along and watch the carnage! Lol!

Cheers!

Doing it starting about 9:30 AM

Low wind speed mixed with intermittent cloud cover at comfortable temperatures. Gottafly.

Arriving about 9:30 and staying until the exec meeting at 12:30.
Flying either electric or winch-launch - depending on how energetic I feel. 😉

It's my intention to arrive around 9:30 AM. I'm bringing the club winch.

Re-set my CAM altitude limiter to 150M as required for Saturday's ALES contest.
I'll test it today.
