Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you. Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email. If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance. Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Big Bird Bash Burford Sunday Sept 28

The forecast is a very pleasant 20-26C winds NW 10-18 kph and mainly sunny. Great flying weather - and a free BBQ to boot. Hope to see you there.

@ann-t also a test of the updated forum.
is it just me, or should the posts be sorted so that most recent replies are shown first - seems to me the default is oldest first and I do not see an obvious way to change this.

also, although a signature is defined in the user profile, this does not seem to be auto-appended to posts - I think this would be beneficial

otherwise it looks good, I agree it’s a more modern look.

Afternoon:
I was impressed with the conditions and the turn out for yesterday's flying session at Burford. Eight members attended the field not including me as I only stopped by for a quick visit.

Conditions are looking favourable once again for Wednesday, so I am planning on picking up Terry and arriving around 10 am. I am having some eye issues, so I may not be able to fly, but I will at the very least stay and watch the action. If I can fly, I plan on using my heavy duty high start to launch my 3M BOT and Wanderer 99.
