Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you. Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email. If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance. Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Morning fellow thermal seekers!
I could scarcely believe my eyes when I saw that tomorrow the weather prognosticators are predicting almost perfect conditions for R/C flying after what seems weeks of very high winds! The heat wave is suppose to break tonight, so I am going to pack up some sailplanes, gear, and head out to the field, probably arriving around 9:30 am.

Whose in?

If the forecast hold until tomorrow I'm going to give the slope a whirl, arriving about 10 am. The weather network says 18-27 kph S. Windfinder says lower, but I'm hoping it will be closer to the former.

Not able to join you guys Monday. Have two medical appointments. nothing serious, just follow ups.

Afternoon!
Sunday, I have full schedule with my family for Father's Day, plus the winds look to me to be great for kites! Monday looks good but I have a 11 am doctor's appointment, so that kinda buggers up that day! Looking a head, I don't seem many opportunities for decent flying weather! Bummer! I think the way this season is going, you better have your batteries all charged up and be ready to go in a moment's notice!
