Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Winds are now looking better for Highway 6.

I'll check in the AM, but am currently planning to be at HWY 6 friday flying histart and maybe electric.

If the winds are more suitable for Westover, I'll head there instead.

Well, the wind forecast is looking interesting now. Might be low enough for Highway 6, might be high enough for Westover.

Will check in the AM and decide where I'm going then. I'll post a follow up.

Winds are on the bubble, going to check conditions at highway 6, but it looks like I'll probably join Andy at Westover

I'm going to Westover (~10:30) and may pop over to Hwy 6 afterwards. Winds are forecast lower now.

Please review the NOTAM PROCEDURE FOR OUR SOD FARM FLYING SITE shown above. A procedural change requiring ATC notification to de-activate the NOTAM at the conclusion of each flying session has been added.
Thanks.

Sunday morning does not look too bad at the moment. So if current forecast holds plan to be at the field ~8:30 to 9:00.

Happy Canada Day. The forecast for Canada Day has improved marginally, so I intend to fly a soon as I can get there.

But I will also aim to fly this Sunday (early).

I'm likely for Sunday morning, and holiday monday's looking even better, so I'll probably fly Monday as well
