Our activity is so weather-dependent and the weather is so changeable, that our flying sessions are usually planned on pretty short notice.

If you'd like to have some company when you fly, you can easily start a flying session by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Leave a reply" to this Topic. Just indicate the day, and time that you intend to arrive at the field, and invite other members to join you.

Or, you can "Leave a reply" to accept another person's invitation to form a flying session. People intending to join in should post a Reply, because multiple Replies fuel additional interest.

To "Leave a reply", you will need log in to the Message Board using the username and password that were issued to you. If you've lost them, you can use the lost your password functionality to trigger a password reset - if you do not see a response within a few minutes, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder for the password reset email.

If you are not able to complete a reset because your registered email address is not current you can either register with a new username OR Contact our Website Administrator Tim Glover <tglover51@hotmail.com> for additional assistance.

Note that new registrations require manual administrative review so there may be an additional delay if you choose this option.

Bob:
I managed to crack the boom of my DLG whilst flying at the nearby reservoir this morning. So I am going to try and fix it tonight. Hopefully, I will have it ready for tomorrow, otherwise I will just show up and enjoy the company of my fellow flyers! : )

Cheers!

Lyle

Think I'll try a couple of test flights this morning. See Superforecast attached below. Maybe I'll answer the Call-of-the-Doughnuts afterwards.

Morning!
With a little luck, Terry Dawson & I might end up at the flying field early this afternoon. As usual, I'll be bringing my Cumulus DLG for more tuning & if you want to see something really funny.....I will be practicing my discus launch. : )

Cheers!

The weather Forecast looks pretty good for our first contest at the new field. Winds will initially be from the north, changing to east as the day progresses.

Bring your water bottle, stop watch, whistle and lawn chair. Any additional sunshades would be welcome. Registration starts at 9:00 AM. Contact CD Ann T if questions.

It looks like Wednesday morning will be the only time available this week for me to get in some air time. Hoping to be at the field around 8:30 am. Likely stay until noon or whenever the plane breaks.....which ever comes first! : )

Cheers!

Evening!
Looks like tomorrow morning will be my only chance to get in some flying time this week. I hope to arrive around 9:30 am and will probably head out around noon. I will bring my shade canopy as I hear its going to be quite warm! Hope to see some members out flying with me.

Cheers!
Lyle

The weather forecast for Thursday has improved. I plan to start flying at 10:00 AM.

PostScript: Dick C. joined me today and we flew until 12 noon. Powerful lift was concentrated in very small areas that constantly moved around. Ditto for down-drafts. We both had some good flights.

Plan to be at the slope Fri Jul 22 about 1pm provided the wind forecast stays within +/-45 of slope face.
