Report from Monday 5th September:

Wind speeds measured at the field on Monday morning were considered too high for contest to take place.
A quorum was struck at T. Horten's and discussion of future flying dates was initiated. It is hoped that we can find a suitable date for holding this event.
Stay tuned for further posts.

Advisory:

This Event will take place on Monday September 5th, 2011 at the Chippewa/Nebo road Flying Site.

Weather predictions for Sunday (4th) include high winds and lots of rain. Not the best of flying conditions

Current weather predictions for Sunday 4th September do not look good - see the attached image.

It may well be that the Monday will be a better day - your weather bureau will be monitoring the conditions hour by hour and any change will be advised as soon as the conditions become more settled.

Stay tuned for further updates.....
