LSF #4 Results
A good and quite breezy contest was enjoyed by all 7 participants. Werner joined us around lunchtime for awhile to shoot the breeze, but it only had the opposite effect, the wind velocity increasing somewhat in the afternoon.
When in round 5 some flights found it difficult to stay upwind, Ann and Andy decided to call it a day rather than risk taking home firewood.
Thanks to all participants, including Dave Brown who joined us from GNATS.

Just another reminder LSF #4 is this Thursday 11th August. Current forecast looks OK though slightly on the breezy side, 20 km/h.

LSF #4 Thursday August 11, 2011
SOGGI's LSF Contest #4 for 2011 will take place on Thursday August 11, 2011 at the Nebo Rd. field. Open class, League of Silent Flght Rules.
Registration starts at 9:00 am, pilots briefing at 9:45, contest start at 10:00.
Proof of MAAC membership required. Pilots from other clubs, extra winches, hi-starts and shade tents also welcome.
Visiting pilots, or for any other information please contact CD Andy Meysner, 905 279 0173, meysner@sympatico.ca.
If weather is unsuitable a new date will be agreed at the field on the 11th or by email if obvious weather/forecast results in cancellation beforehand.
