Post by Les P » Thu Jul 21, 2011 1:58 pm

On 31 July 2011 the Southern Ontario Glider Group (SOGGI) will host it's annual one day competition for the catagories of 2 Metre glider and 2 Metre electric assisted glider. Welcome are non-powered and electric assisted gliders with all wingspans. Featured competion is the 2M and under class. There will be prizes for the top three places in each 2M catagory as well as a perpetual trophy for the first place in each 2M class. A perpetual trophy has been prepared for the 2M electic assisted glider class in order to promote it at the club as an ongoing class. As is usual at our club field, plenty of assistance will be provided to those of limited experience in order to ensure all have a fun and educational day. Open to all MAAC members with glider wings. Be prepared to show your current MAAC card. Pilots meeting at 10:00 hours. All flying at the SOGGI field near Binbrook. Hi-starts, winches and cold water will be available. Phone Les at 905-275-5622 for directions to the field in use.
