Unfortunately the day was somewhat disrupted by the field grass being cut and fertilized. We had to move camp a couple of times which was not conducive to running a smooth contest. The forecast wind direction also did not cooperate, resulting in some delay in setting up line launch equipment. We potentially had 8 contestants but only 5 managed to fly and only Alex managed to complete all 5 rounds.
We had a mix of electric, line launch, and wing spans from 2.5 to 3.8m. Alex and Ann were flying electric. Bob, Tim and Andy were on a Hi Start
The results are posted below showing scores according to rounds completed.
There were some Gremlins as follows: Otakar had Tx battery problems and opted to play safe. Ann had a motor mount problem on round 5 launch and Andy had moved his Supra CG forward resulting in elevator compensation with flap being totally out of wack.
