NEW AND IMPROVED PROCEDURE:
In this Forum, Contest Directors (or Special Event Directors) are invited to report RESULTS from Contests (or Events) that have already occurred.

UPCOMING Contests and Events are ADVERTISED on our WEBSITE's rolling Calendar of Events. That way, events will automatically be maintained in chronological order, and then deleted from our Calendar of Events after their scheduled date has passed.
To include an event on the SOGGI calendar please contact the Special Events Organizer via the Contacts page on the SOGGI website.

Otto Bandman Memorial Club Day 2012

The Otto Bandman Day will be held at the Trinity Church and Chippewa Rds. flying site on Sunday July 15th 2012.
This is a Free....Fun...Fly for 2 Meter, Open Class and Electric sailplanes.
The durations will be 5,5,7,7,10,10 min..... and if time and conditions prevails a 15 minute challenge.
Registration begins at 9:00 AM, pilots meeting at 9:30 and first flight at 10:00.
We welcome all Highstarts,Winches and landing tapes.
A Soggi, MAAC or AMA up to date card must be presented at registration.
Come out..... enjoy the day, there is also a huge shade tree that you can sit under and tell tall tales or short ones of past
glider experiences.
A trophy for top score will be presented at the end of the day.
A rain date is possible if conditions occur.
Please be aware this is a control zone for the Mt. Hope Airport and that large aircraft do have the right of way.
