NEW AND IMPROVED PROCEDURE:
In this Forum, Contest Directors (or Special Event Directors) are invited to report RESULTS from Contests (or Events) that have already occurred.

UPCOMING Contests and Events are ADVERTISED on our WEBSITE's rolling Calendar of Events. That way, events will automatically be maintained in chronological order, and then deleted from our Calendar of Events after their scheduled date has passed.
To include an event on the SOGGI calendar please contact the Special Events Organizer via the Contacts page on the SOGGI website.

ALES #3 Contest results. CD was Les Peer
Contest held @ SOGGI field under perfect weather on 29 June 2012.
Planes flown were electric assisted gliders with altitude limiting devices (CAM)

First place Larry Literovich of GNATS with 3520 points

Second place Bob Hammett of SOGGI with 2691 points

Third place Sam Burke of SOGGI with 1837 points

Forth place Dave Brown of GNATS with 1727 points

Fith place Dick Colley of SOGGI with 1271 points flying borrowed Spectra

Sixth place Les Peer of SOGGI with 1265 points

Seventh place Heinz Gwisdek of SOGGI with 120 points, retired early with motor problems

Don't have a super high tek glider? Don't worry as Larry has a multichannel high tek F5?
machine while Bob flies a three channel 1930's balsa Lanzo Bomber! Perhaps skill enters here! So come on out and fly what you have. There is plenty of expert advice to help you enjoy your day. Thanks to Larry and Dave of GNATS for helping make it a great day for all.
