Hi Lyle,

I saw that yesterday, not sure if you saw the banter between me, him and Adam. We invited him to the Sept RES competition. He is considering coming!!! We need to get Hunters built!!! Also, his covering scheme has made me think that i am going to had a truly transparent section to wing...love that little window of transparency with no color...very nice.

Karl, What dia. is that bike spoke? looks larger dia, than a standard spoke. A method I use is to bend threaded rod and grind off the threads for the part external to the fuse. But I like your idea better.

That was not meat to make you feel old...I am 50 and did this back when I was 19. I still think this is a completely valid way to build. I have a formal hobby room now with dedicted build table, however I think another cieling tile is on order :-)

OK now you are making me feel old....did the exact same thing when building my Olympic II. Took an old door from our offices and "snuck" a ceiling tile out of the maintenance area....
