Burford Saturday Oct 12 anyone?
WN current forecast winds <15 kph, POP 10%, sunny up to 15C by 1pm

Westover Fri Oct 11 NO GO
Update Thurs 12:50 pm. Unfortunately the forecast now shows winds gusting 40-50 kph on both the weather network and windfinder. The forecasts show it might be OK between 9 and 11 am, but the earliest I could get there is between 11 and noon, by which time it looks too breezy. So I'm calling it a miss.
On the bright side, Burford is currently looking OK on Saturday.

The conditions at the slope look quite promising for Fri Oct 11 in the afternoon. I'll keep an eye on the forecast and update here.

I plan on arriving between 9:30-10:00.
Have to get out there while the weather is good. Not many days of flying weather left for this year.

Saturday Oct 5, Burford
Cool weather but moderate winds and lots of sun - looks like a great October flying day
I plan to arrive at the field between 10 and 10:30

The weather apps are indicating Friday and Saturday will be good for flying at Burford. As I have commitments for Saturday, Friday it is! Predicted winds will be 9 kph from the East. I'll believe it when I see it, so just in case, better bring your Conscendos! Lol! With a few exceptions, it's been a season of high, gusty wind conditions at the field.

I'm thinking of heading to the field on Wednesday morning. Both Windfinder and the Weather Network are calling for light winds, but it might be a tad cool, so dress appropriately. I'm having some lower back issues, so I will probably be travelling light and flying some of my UMX Foamies. Basically I want to get out of the house and enjoy our field and our facilities....while it's still there. If you're looking for lift, due to the lower angle of the sun, the best time to be there is noon or later. I will probably get there around 10 am and stay until 1 or 2 pm.
