At the moment, the forecast for Friday looks excellent and we finally have a bit of a respite from all of the heat.

Hello All,

I plan on joining the flying tomorrow morning around 10. I will watch the board and email for any updates.

Evening!
Pursuant to Ann's earlier post, she will be notifying GH that we intend to conduct a R/C Sailplane flying session at the Burford flying field on Tuesday morning, mostly likely 9 am to 1 pm. If we don't hear otherwise, we will assume we are good to go! The forecast is calling for some heat, but as usual the mornings are usually relatively pleasant. I will be picking up Terry Dawson around 8 am, and should arrive at the field before 9 am.

Hopefully we will see a few more members turn out what could turn out to be a great morning of thermal seeking!

Update 05:45 Friday
The rain has now been pushed back to the evening so I still plan to arrive at the field around 10

Suddenly there is rain in the forecast - I will check in the morning again and will post an update by 7:00 about whether or not I will go flying after all.
