If any club member needs to replace a transmitter pack, don't buy, save your money!
I have a few 3S lipo packs of different sizes that are near the end of useful life as far as high current goes, but are still fine for low current uses. I've been using the higher voltage of lipos in several transmitters for a while and there has been no problem, probably a bit higher RF output.
